Formerly managed by the Canadian government, the Port of Sept-Îles became an autonomous organization in 1999. Since then we have been a local organization managed and run by the people of Sept-Îles. Our development vision is based solely on the needs and realities of our community.

A word from
the CEO
On June 2, 2025, the Port of Sept-Îles Board of Directors announced the appointment of Alexandra Chouinard as President and CEO.
Marking the beginning of a new era, she quickly presented her development vision for the Port of Sept-Îles, centered around three main areas:
· Vision 2035 – Diversify markets and seize new opportunities
· Sustainable development – Promote responsible practices and strengthen citizen dialogue
· Human capital – Build on the talent and commitment of our teams to build the future
